Guidelines
General Instructions
Eligibility: Ensure that all presenters are registered participants of the congress.
Language: Abstracts must be written in English.
Originality: Submissions should be original research that has not been previously published.
Deadline: All abstracts must be submitted by the specified deadline.
Submission Method: Abstracts must be submitted online through the congress submission portal.
Review Process: All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the international scientific committee. If corrections are required, abstracts must be modified and resubmitted within 7 days after the correction notification.
Notification: Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection via email by the specified date.
Publication: Accepted abstracts will be published in the congress proceedings.
Abstract format
Title:
Should be concise and descriptive.
Up to 200 characters (including spaces).
Capitalize and bold all letters.
Use "Center alignment".
Authors:
List all authors' full names.
If there is more than one author, the names must be separated by a comma and the symbol "&" must be used for the last author.
If the authors come from different institutions, please use a superscript number after the surname, which should correspond to the affiliations given below.
The name of the presenting author must be underlined.
Use "Center alignment".
Affiliations:
If the authors belong to different institutions, these must be listed in numerical order.
Provide the full address, including the name of the institution, address, city, postcode and country.
Give only the email address of the presenting author below affiliations.
Use "Center alignment".
Abstract Body:
The title, authors and affiliation are not considered part of the abstract.
Up to 3000 characters, including spaces.
The text must be justified.
If appropriate, it should contain an introduction, the objectives, the methodology, the results and the conclusions.
Keywords:
Up to six keywords in alphabetical order, not included in the title.
Words should be separated by comma.
Format:
Use Word (Microsoft Office 97-2003 or higher).
Use standard fonts (Times New Roman, 12 pt).
Single-spaced text.
Margin of 2.54 cm (Normal) on each side.
No tables, figures, or references within the abstract.
Abstract Form
Please indicate whether you would like to present your work in the form of an oral presentation or a poster. Plenary lectures last 30 minutes with 10 minutes of discussion. Oral presentations last 15 minutes with 5 minutes of discussion. The guidelines for poster presentations will be published soon on the 20ICM website.
